So I've come to the point where I've wanted some to see some features on the software I regularly use and I feel confident enough that I can pull it off. However, once I start getting into it, it all becomes so overwhelming that it's hard to get anything done....
When a library I'm using at work doesn't have a feature I want or has a subpar implementation for my use case, I often try to send my changes upstream. Sometimes they get accepted, sometimes they're too specific of a usecase.
It basically needs more ergonomic joycons to be usable for more than an hour in handheld mode for me. I've got a pair of hori split pad pros that work really well, but you lose the gyro which kind of sucks for aiming in games like zelda
So I joined a new gym last year and was pleasantly surprised. They gave me a smart card to get in and out, that's it, no app, no accounts, no nothing. Well, today I got to the gym and saw the announcement that they are phasing out the access with the smart card and starting to use, you guessed it, an app....
My old college dorm did this, I told them I don't have a smartphone (lie) and they gave me an access card that works 100% of the time without needing a charge. They might do the same at your gym.
I don't entirely subscribe to the first paragraph – I've never worked at a place so dear to me that spurred me to spend time thinking about its architecture (beyond the usual rants). Other than that, spot on
After thinking for about a year about it I decided to rename the project to 🚀NetAlertX. This will help prevent confusion about which fork someone is using, and differentiate it from the now stale upstream project. With about 1800 or so commits over the stale project, I thought, this project deserved a new name. It will also...
Not a whole lot to share. Phone was unstable for a bit and one day refused to boot past a blank screen. As far as I could tell from trying to pull data off it, something got corrupted and it could no longer boot but my data was all encrypted with no way to pull it off.
Still one of my favorite gaming experiences. I recommend everyone to play it at least once through, it's not terribly long but it is an extremely worthwhile experience.
I don't have an account myself, and the photos and videos I'm trying to download en masse belong to a famous person's public account. Is there anything I can use to do it (as long as it's not creating an account lol), preferably proxied tools as apparently I get blocked while behind a VPN?...
Seriously be super careful doing that on... Homework... Sites, as they can and often do contain illegal imagery that the moderation teams might have missed.
Hahaha valid and I've done something similar. As long as you know what you're going to be getting you should be set, I however downloaded an entire unintentionally exposed endpoint's dataset and got things I would rather never have seen and had to report to LEA.
Really like the art, any plans for ports to mobile? I think it could do really well there. I'll kick some cash to the Kickstarter for sure, any plans to continue if you don't reach the goal?

My job has no cover letter, 2 interviews and it's probably the best dev job I've had. All about finding a company that values your time as a person and not just as an employee. If they make you jump through bs to get hired, they're gonna make you jump through BS to work. I could make 20k more at one of those companies but id hate my work and have no balance.
Of course you do? There are jobs that won't put you through bullshit just to work there. I never said it wasn't fine, but making you jump through hoops is a sign of a bad workplace.
"Digital Autism" is not supported by current research to be a real thing. Autistic children are more likely to be attracted to technology as a substitute for social interactions though.
