    They can potentially collect a lot of stuff but I dont really see a reason why they would sell / use it for anything besides analytics/marketing internally

    Android users who have a keen eye for design and detail, how is the whole stutter/lag situation? Esp. after a few years of use?

    I haven't used an Android device since my last one, the Galaxy S8. Beautiful hardware, beautiful design, but it was plagued with animation stutters and dropped frames. I switched to an iPhone and an iPad around 6 years ago. And the animations were buttersmooth. It was almost unthinkable to achieve such a fluid interface on any...

    Been running Lineage on a Pixel 2 xl and Pixel 5 for about 2.5 years and its buttery smooth

    Hotspot Wi-Fi connected to my laptop works without connected to mobile data. What could be the reason? ( lemm.ee )

    Title is self explanatory. For background, I am currently running Asahi Linux on my M1 MBP. Whenever I connected the hotspot without data being turned on, it somehow still worked like any regular wifi. I even ran several updates in the system and downloaded multiple apps in this wifi, which I find it amusing....

    I initially tried to run debian 12 with xfce on it but it was horribly slow (looked like a gpu driver issue, didnt care enough to troubleshoot) so I decided to go the win2k route

    Nope. Only have n64 and snes atm. Dont think this laptop would run gc at a playable framerate.
