@gbhnews hi! that makes sense. I'm not an expert, of course, but here's how I'd rewrite it: "1.3 million people trapped as Israel bombs Rafah" because that's the bigger news. Focusing on "Palestinian militants" is misleading, as if this a battle between equals rather than the domination of one over the other.

@gbhnews I am so happy you are here in the fediverse! I don’t even live in Massachusetts (though my parents and brother’s family do). It just gives me hope that maybe the Maine PBS stations will get involved too!
