I take this to mean that it's not necessarily that this happens less in a pre-made campaign, but that you put the time and effort into creating your own only to see this happen. It's kind of like getting your kid a gift from the store only for them to play with the box vs. hand making a gift for them over several weeks only for them to play with the box.

My dog does this too. She puts a hole in the toy (using surgical precision) to get the squeaker out, then carries it around with her and cuddles with it. We call them her babies.

And you avoid making an app that you show to the customer for the first time only for them to say, “What the hell is this?” My company used waterfall for the longest time, and this happened several times. It was really frustrating.

GURPS is such a great system. A lot of rules, but they all make sense, and it's so flexible.

THAC0 (To Hit Armor Class 0) was an attempt to simplify combat in earlier editions. Before then, each class had a table they had to refer to to know what they had to roll to hit a particular armor class. It's much simpler in 5e.

The whole Fitbit subscription required for all the detailed health features is keeping me from seriously considering a Pixel Watch 2. I get health/fitness metrics with my Galaxy Watch without needing to subscribe to anything - same with Garmins and other watches.

Now that we're finally out of reddit, can we finally get different tag for NSFW and NSFL?

For the uninitiated, generally NSFW is for sexual contents and NSFL is for gory contents. People may want to see one but not see the other at any time for any reason. I have seen this feature requested over the years in Reddit but it never happens. Maybe now some instance can finally implement it?

Yes, I love that the dev is so engaged. He also started up a community here for Pixel Dungeon as well.

I’m glad Shattered csme along. I didn’t care for item degradation that the original dev of PD built in towards the end. Shattered forked at just the right time.

Sprouted PD is fun if you enjoy grinding.

Reminds me of this thing I bought a long time ago, back when phones still had headphone jacks. It was a button that plugged into that, and you could program it to do whatever you wanted. It was neat, but often didn’t work too well. I wish I could remember what it was called.

Anyway, Pixels have the feature where you can tap the back of the phone and map that to an action, so we already kind of have that. Mine is mapped to the flashlight.
