If both are in Portland maybe it wasn't him but the cyber truck I see somewhat often is always waving out his window to people looking at his truck. I've followed this truck from Portland up to standish before and for him to say he doesn't like attention is absolutely not true...
I'm looking to make links stand out by any means. I find myself always opening them and having something like YouTube or other video services open and start playing while in places where that's not ideal.
With the ad adjustment came these banner ads on the top of comment sections and they are atrocious so much so I don't bother reading comments anymore. They all have the obnoxious white backgrounds and they flicker since they move. It feels light no matter my phones britness they are blinding and since content doesnt get loads of...
I plan to buy it just don't have the money and I don't like any of the other apps. I'm not gonna breath down the neck of the one guy working on this in his free time. He does a lot of work in the background and I'm actually fine dealing with the ads this specfic set of ads just makes using the app very uncomfortable to look at.
A lot of people act entitled to others free time and having on demand responses it's exhausting for anyone trying to do anything when people slam on them for not relaying messages of every little thing they're doing.
Because it's from a dev I support because I like the app. I dont mind ads I'm just saying this specfic type of ad is very intrusive which LJ typically takes into consideration when implementing them.
Would be more bearable at the bottom the issue of how bright it is would still play a factor. I've been with you since day 1 of sync for reddit so I won't be scared off I know you can only do so much. The price for premium is a touch more than I can pull together but maybe one day as I would love to support the development of the app!
I feel like Google just needs to give their employees the list of employees they're keeping at this point just rip the Bandaid right off and be done. It feels like every other week there's enormous layoffs from these big tech companies....
Then pay for it. This is one guy soloing an app in his free time. If you want more features it requires more of his time to work on them and time spent developing this app is time not working his full time job making steady income. We have no right to ask for more of his time for free.
Google has struck a deal with Reddit that will allow the search engine maker to train its AI models on Reddit’s vast catalog of user-generated content, the two companies announced. Under the arrangement, Google will get access to Reddit’s Data API, which will help the company “better understand” content from the site....
Have you ever checked back? I only ask because they restored loads of people's deleted content. I had mine restored 3 different times. After my last purge I never checked back.
Recently hopped over to Lemmy from Reddit, initially tried Boost and the web app and wasn't super happy with the experience however after installing Singing I can happily say the experience has improved vastly. It feels more promising and premium than the actual official Reddit app!
The dev welcomes suggestions just so you know. I used sync for reddit for years before he was forced out and he has helped me troubleshoot one on one in the past. I'm still learning how lemmy works but whatever the equivalent of subreddits is just look for sync.
This is the right way of thinking. I personally can't stand IOS but thats me. It would be awesome to have the option to run any OS even cooler would be if you could pay to have it official which of course will never happen.
I use to torrent everything until Netflix and as competitors began popping up it was fine as it was convenient but now I can’t keep up with what’s where. Had to dust off the hat and learned to set up a server for jellyfin. I tried being fair but they got greedy
