Someone recently recommended PopOs to me. Any thoughts on that?

100% this. I find an itch to scratch and build it using something new.

As one of those coworkers, I just wanna say: you're the best! Thanks for helping give us a voice 🙌

Wow, there's a throwback!

I don't think I'll ever get over how shortsighted buying that domain name was.

Totes this. I've refactored far too many of these things in my day so I just about always reach for an options object if there's the slightest uncertainty about adding more params in the future.

I see Fireship, I upvote!

Seriously though, this is classic Nintendo. I feel like they'd do this knowing full well they might lose if only to let the world know they haven't stopped watching this space.

Python seems to be a staple for as long as I can remember and it looks like it's still gonna be going strong for a good while yet!

I'm thinking of taking the dive and finally learning it myself soon.

Hadn't heard of that, will check it out for sure. Thanks 🙌!

I spent all day comparing Bard vs ChatGPT 4. Here are the results (Software Developer Questions)

I'm a software engineer at a startup with impossible deadlines - I've used GPT4 for months to generate huge amounts app/server code, and much like your IDE, once you learn to use these tools you don't want to go back to the days without it....

Oh sweet. I had just found APIDog the other day which seemed better than Postman. Will check this out too!

You still need a subscription if you want to save your collections in git.

The only thing doing tech tests has taught me is that I'm too stupid to do the job I've been doing professionally for the better part of 2 decades.

Can’t just be me, can it? Currently 0 for 3 on interviews because I can’t seem to get past the technical interview/test. Usually because of some crazy complicated algorithm question that’s never been relevant to anything I’ve ever had to do on the job in all my years coding....

This seems like a very pragmatic solution actually 👌
