That I shouldn’t care as much about installed packages I no longer use. Sure, going through installed programs and cleaning up from time to time is ok, but no need to panic if something sticks around.
Especially when I installed something manually needing dependencies for programming, I tend to write down names of installed packages and then managing it manually, because I wasn’t yet aware what their names mean. Now using same OS for over a year, heavly testing stuff, having multiple desktop enviroments and not cleaning it up my system partition is taking less than 30GB, compared to 1TB disk it’s nothing.

I do similliarly, but my question was about the situation when there are more admins with access to server. Would you create one account for everything or how else to manage it?
RCS has open spec, but implemanting it means dealing with phone networks and their policy. Also limiting operating systems like Android and iOS and a blocking factor.
No need to push it. Good old XMPP is better in every single way and exists since 1999. No tied to phone number, stable, proven, available on any device, with encrypted group calls and easy to host yourself.
The discussion I stumbled upon, about this SSH app for Android, is really worrying. Will Google really manage to make it impossible to root your phone?...

Besides fact you will be running privileged services 24/7 with Internet and location access, it is quite usable.
Don’t forget to turn off WiFi scanning. This feature is for Google to create WiFi hotspot maps by using your devices, but it also constantly leak your location to them.
I recommend anyone having to use phone with Google system-baked services to connect to Internet only via some portable OpenWRT router with strict firewall rules and allowlist only.
WiFi scanning is not nessesary for location to work and as a proof we can use any other app other than Google Maps on deGoogled phone just fine.
This option is officially used to build convinient location history on Google Maps and Google Photos and for building WiFi map for Google’s database. Both with creepy consequence - leaking 24/7 location of every Android phone by default.
I only saw the app once while scrolling around on f-droid; tried it but it seemed too empty to be useful. For WhatsApp alternative we have Matrix and XMPP, for Discord alternative Matrix would be better, for Zoom alternative Jitsi is better, for off-road protest messaging Briar is better.

Now we are facing an unprecedented growth of AI as a whole. Do you think is time for FSF elaborate a new version of GPL to incorporate the new challenges of AI in software development to keep protecting users freedom?
GPLv3 already takes all of that. Programs that train AI have normal licencing applied. Programs that was modified by AI must be under GPL too. The neural network itself if not a program, it’s a format and is always modifiable anyway as there is no source code. You can take any neural network and train it futher without data it was trained on before.
