This as well. I will say even the time where i would normally spend watching shows on stuff like dailymotion primewire etc i know most just watch youtube channels

I always see his exact photo when i see this posted. Im pretty convinced that this isnt actually how kids are dressed, otherwise the photo would once in a while be changed up
I know theres sorta the ability to do this with swipe actions, but Id like the option to mark posts as read in the same line as the upvote/downvote/save/hide. It just would be a lot simpler especially when its things where from the title you can get the gist,.but you dont want to completely hide the article.
In short, I want the ability to hide news and political stories temporarily, much like you might hide nsfw articles temporarily when at work. Id like to be able to maintain all my previously made filters and communities, and still be able to scroll through “all”, but just temporarily hide the news and such, just to get a...
Ok awesome! Something like this, or even the ability to create your own ‘multireddit’ would be great. So say if I specifically wanted to look up about a specific topic, I could have a multicommunity just for that, but still be subscribed to more communities overall
Hi guys, first of all, I fully support Piracy. But Im writing a piece on my blog about what I might considere as “Ethical Piracy” and I would like to hear your concepts of it....
I find it’s very context dependent. In the 3d model/printables, a lot of people who release the pirated content so a 3-4 month embargo to allow the creator a chance to let people get it legally before it’s available everywhere.
Trolls have taken up residence in the caves surrounding this forgotten temple. Only when adventurers come to investigate the blocked river will they have a chance of finding something more.
Appreciate you sharing the map, but try to keep this community more for either discussions of making maps, works in progress, or for writing prompts/ideas. For finished maps, post them on our partner community !battlemaps . Thanks for sharing your maps though!

Yea probably a cloud storage site like mega or Google drive like others have said. The good thing with those is it’s much easier for people to bulk download your maps if you have them in the same folder
*Discover the enchantment of the forgotten Enchanted Oasis, a hidden gem within the crumbling walls of an ancient castle. Trying to work more with dungeon alchemist, trying to get better about getting maps that are usable fast as possible rather than getting stuck on nitty gritty details. Also just trying to learn how to use it more. The cinematic tool is pretty cool, I wish I could change the skybox up though.
I worked on this map while brainstorming an TTRPG setting a few years back. I never ended up using it however. The Lake Laurel region is inspired by the large glacial lake systems you see in the northern US and throughout Canada....

Its relatively simple, but the reason is I’m trying to get more used to using Dungeon Alchemist, as Dungeondraft is my usual go to. DD is waaaayy more detailed and granular, but DA can make pretty great looking maps, and fast. And itll automatically animate them, you can do the whole first person thing, all stuff which is pretty cool.
Been a Reddit is Fun good user for over a decade. Is by far been my most used app. Earlier editions had the little alien in the corner, and I have three phones with that logo burned into the screen. I really have been enjoying the growth of Lemmy/Fediverse, and it reminds me honestly of early Reddit. But still it's bittersweet losing RiF and how drastically the community of Reddit has changed over the last few months
Glad to share it! Thank you so much for your hard work, I cannot overstate how much I loved your app. I'm sure you've been getting this bunch but seriously the experience on Reddit is fun was what made Reddit. I have barely used it ever on a computer and have never really experienced it any other way. It is by far the number one used to have on my phone and losing access to it is losing access to Reddit for me. I'd love to know about any other projects that you're working on because the quality and simplicity of your product was what made the experience so great all these years!
Interesting. I like the idea. Posts about prompts, but not so much images themselves. Lemme think about it, but I like the idea. Even doing different things like everyone responding to prompt ideas. I wanted the battlemaps community mainly to be more images that you could scroll through, finding maps and inspiration, and posts about making maps for over here. Lemme think of a good way to word it, and I’ll make a post tomorrow. Ideally itll be along the lines of posting ‘Make your (free) requests here’ (you can link to a patreon, but ideally this isnt the place for exchanging stuff for money) in the /c/MapMaking , and you can repost in the /c/BattleMaps just the image of the finished product (whatever is the best way to host it, as long as people get access to a map (not one thats made in a way where its not actually usable for actual play). So then /c/BattleMaps is still about scrolling through just map ideas, and /c/MapMaking can be for questions, tutorials, and request threads

Ya know didn’t think about it, but yea I think it would. /c/battlemaps it’s more for completed maps but ones that users could download and use themselves, so posting physical maps to /c/MapMaking i think would be perfectly fine
Yea I mod both, i swear there was a way on jerboa to see it. I use liftoff primarily right now as its interface is a lot more like RiF, which i think lists mods in the side bar.
Both communities are very new and growing, trying to add more content and such, while still learning how Fediverse works+real life stuff
Would love to see how you do it too! I have a hotwire I got a while back that i still haven’t had a chance to use. Been following Black Magic Crafts for a while, always loved his work. I enjoy printing and painting miniatures, and terrain and buildings seem really really fun.
In all honesty though, it’s been ~2 years since i did an in person have, almost everything I do is online. But I really love miniatures, terrain, maps, etc for in person
I have a 10 month old, so the hope is one day to be able to share the hobby with him, either from making things for us to play together with, or to make things together
I have been using Dungeondraft and Dungeon Alchemist. Dungeondraft I like more for detailed and customized maps. I like how fast Dungeon Alchemist is, but the lack of certain drawing tools makes it a bit frustrating

In the heart of the desolate swamp, an uncanny sight reveals itself – a verdant garden filled with blossoms, a charming hut, and an apple tree in full bloom.
