Not quite sure where i would do that in either of those settings.
We don't use the google contacts app and the ones we use don't have anything like that. Settings are pretty convoluted and the search function doesn't help me
Thanks to another user i got home assistant notifications with TTS running.
So everything can stay muted and i can let the phone talk via home assistant. Neat part is that this works even with both our phones lost and i can just ask my voice assistant where my phone is and it starts speaking
Nah i am German, so imho I have every right to be majorly pissed off by religion being so invasive that they even enforce taxes unless you take your time and fucking pay money to officially leave the church so you don't have to pay those cults any money anymore
Organized religion has no respect for anyone, organized religion is the single most horrible thing that ever happened to humanity and organized religion is solely responsible for billions of deaths throughout history, way too many fucking wars and so much blocking of innovation.
Religion doesnt respect women, lgbtq, mentally disabled, people who don't want to be indoctrined to follow a cult member and, of course, members of other religions.
But sure, go ahead and continue that stupid categorized thinking of "I bet you're american" buddy
well i dearly miss CUDA as i don't get ZLUDA to work properly with Stable Diffusion and FSR is sill leagues behind DLSS... but yeah overall i am very happy
If you're someone who reallse uses CUDA and all their stuff and don't care about Wayland. NVidia is the choice you have to make. Simple as that.
If you don't care about those things or are willing to sacrifice time and tinker around with AMDs subpar alternatives, AMD is the way to go.
Because let's face it. AMD didn't care about machine learning stuff and they only now begin to dabble in it. They lost a huge amount of people who work with those things as their day job. They can't tell their bosses and/or clients that they can't work for a week or two until they figured out how to get this alternative running that is just starting to care about that field of work.
Admin of lemmy.dbzer0.com here and yeah i can confirm it's from instances with open registration. Also most of them are smaller instances that aren't that well maintained and will probably feel the consequence by being blocked by other instances....

No offense to our brothers and sisters in the fediverse, but kbin.social surely has a lot of spam coming out... it's a very popular instance and that attracts a lot of dickheads.
Hi guys! I have a Desktop with Nobara, and open source mesa drivers for my 7800XT. When I try to run the webui.sh launcher, I get a segfault when trying to create the model. Is there a way to run it with open source drivers? Or without having to uninstall them? Can both privative and open source drivers coexist? This is mostly...
You gotta be more precise with everything you just wrote.
trying to run the webui.sh launcher? I assume you mean the webui from automatic1111 ? there are many different stable diffusion webui's out there so you gotta tell us what exactly you use.
Private and Public drivers? What exactly do you mean with that?
If asking for technical help - always always attach as many logs as you can. In this case, attach the console output you get when trying to launch webui.sh
Yeah according to the other comments i'll go with immich as the main photo storage and just sync them over to nextcloud via external storage connection.

i heavily rely on CUDA for many things i do on my personal computer. If this establishes itself as a reliable method to use all the funky CUDA stuff on AMD cards, my next card will 100% be AMD.
I started with a basic as shit NAS and was happy with it.
Then i wanted Hardware Acceleration for my Plex Server because i wanted to stream high resolution content when i was out of the house.
I then rebuilt my old Gaming Rig into a server.
After i realized that i now have much more power to use i started to host a bunch of services; AdGuard, Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, Overseerr, Homarr, Lidarr, SabNZBs, Kavita, Kaizoku, HomeBox, HomeAssistant, Nextcloud, FoundryVTT, PaperlessNGX, Audiobookshelf, Romm and Whisper for my HomeAssistant.
That's stuff i would've never even had the chance to host on something simple like a little NAS.
Oh and most homelabs are NOT racks with 2 cores.... in my case, old gaming PC with Ryzen 5 2600X, 16Gigs of Ram and GTX1660 Super
Any reason you chose pfSense over opnSense ? I heard opnSense was better or something.
I really want to go down that rabbithole aswell and get myself some real network appliance with 10gig ethernet and take control over my network. I currently have a Fritz!Box by AVM that i bought myself so not via my ISP so it's already fairly controlled and configured by only me... but it has it's limitations; I can't setup PXE boot for example.
I've got my GPU running in docker when i wanted to use hw transcoding on my Plex docker. So this is already cleared.
I've researched a bit since posting and found that using sunshine directly is not the easiest route to pick here since their docker installation is still in early development and involves a lot of manual config and setup.
yeah but i don't want to run it as a direct application.
My server is run entirely via docker and i want all my hosted stuff to be docker. And their docker setup requires a lot of manual setup, building your own image and all of that...
As of this moment, it is broken though as they rebuild the project to use wolf instead of sunshine.
But the maintainer says they will be releasing in a few days; I talked to them and they helped me spin up the development version and that works really good! (still missing controller passthrough though :D)
