Call me pessimistic, but I do think:

• Privacy is an illusion.
• Control is an illusion (a reference to Mr. Robot).

Certainly, we can do a lot to have more privacy, but it is an illusion to think that we have complete control over it. Especially with social media, jobs, and today's technology.

It seems like my comment has upset you or at least agitated you, if that’s not the case – it’s the impression you gave me.

I never said that we should ‘’not do everything we can’’; of course, we should. But that certainly does not mean we control everything. No matter how hard you try and how well you manage to maintain both privacy and control, at some point there will be a ‘’leak’’. Not by you but perhaps by your job, your family, friends or acquaintance. There are to many external things to have 100% control.

In today’s era, both privacy and control are truly mere illusions because you can maintain your privacy and believe you are in control, yet somewhere along the way, you leave a trail behind, especially with technology. I’m not sure why you brought ‘’morality’’ into the discussion of privacy and control – because that’s a whole other argument. This post and my comments were merely about these two.

Though, I did not expect my comment to get this much attention. It's just my personal opinion, you can agree and disagree.

r/piracy is mainly active with 3 things

1. Memes
2. Random questions
3. Drama

I, personally, never ask questions on that subreddit. Only viewing for random entertainment or boredness.

Both Piracy and PiratedGames subreddit are the 3 above. If you ask a particular question, you’ll often get randomly ridiculed (for nothing).

I’d just say - post it here and if that really doesn’t work out then try it there. Though out of personal experience this community on here is much (much) more friendly, willing to help and actually get to the point.

This community also had actual discussions and not random shit throwing in the community.

So if you’re okay with the webversion of Spotify, you can use that.

Similar with ebooks, I pirate them, read and if I like it. I will buy the physical book to support the author.

Well, my plan was to put the roms into the switch to play the games. Pirated the roms. But wasn’t certain if this is possible.

I think, I worded it wrongly.

I currently just pirate the roms and play the games through emulation. Wondering whether it is worth it to purchase an V1 Switch, that can be ‘hacked’ and then put the pirate roms into it to play the games handheld (traveling, in bed, cozied up next to the heater).

I have been told only the V1 versions can be hacked/ jailbroken.

I'm not the one hosting it, another person is. The particular person mentioned we need to make the bot send the files to our own private channel. To do that was needed to it manually ''/usetting'' and then do the steps.

Never take on a corporate company that has billions to spend for the suing. They took the smartest and best route for themselves and that’s what matters - what’s best for them.

I’m curious, are you a teenager? The way you are writing makes me think, you are.
For example “fighting” and “killing” .
These terms don’t really suit the topic.

Not only that you write about things, you clearly have no knowledge of.
They are not cowards at all, they took the best and smartest route for themselves to not get into even more financial debt, mental health issues and immensely stressful situations.

I’m quite certain, you have no idea how big of a toll this situation takes on the Yuzu developers.

Not only that, they were definitely not going to manage winning the case against Nintendo. They do not have the financial capacity nor the right lawyers for it.
Nintendo has enough money and great lawyers to drag this for years if they wanted to.

Anyway because it seems you cannot be reasoned with, this will be my last comment to you.

I was genuinely thinking to purchase a Switch to play Captain Toad while traveling because, I like the game on emulation.

But well they totally fucked it. Never going to purchase anything from them. Greedy shit corporations.

I rather donate my money to Yuzu than to give a penny to Nintendo.

Is it like a library of the things, you have downloaded?

I currently just download shows and put them in folders like “MHA S6” and then proceed to watch with VLC.

Thanks but this is when you have a Switch and unfortunately I don’t have one. I read that you can use the pros-key and Firmware without having an actual Switch (or is this wrong information?)

Not sure why you got downvoted. Though to your question, never happened to me.

But I did pirate a game, I already owned. Death Stranding. I owned it for the PS4 and I back then hated it.

Wanted to retry it but just for the story. Pirated it on PC, got WeMod put everything on and went to play for story, environment and relaxation.

It was such an amazing experience.

When I block someone, I can still see their message. Just won’t get a notification. I thought, it would be blocked entirely - so I’m a bit confused.

Unfortunately not at all. I was excited for Persona 5 Royal and was prepared to purchase it again (got it on PS5). Wanted to play it with a Trainer for fun.

However the discount is meh for an rebuy, it’s like €35(?). Was more hoping for €15-20.

There is.

Persona 5 Royal has Denuvo Anti Cheat. A immensely hard anti cheat to crack.

The only public cracker that is able to crack Denuvo, refuses to crack Anime-games. Thus it’ll take a long while before it gets cracked.

From what I have read and heard is that there was one Denuvo cracker who unfortunately got caught and is still in trail. Here’s a article about it:

kotaku.com/renowned-hacker-arrested-for-cracking-… (you could also search up on Google about Voksi).

And the other ones who could crack it were hired by the Denuvo company themselves. Regards this one, the people being hired - that’s mostly speculation. I have not found any evidence of it.

Yeah, you’re right! I was confused since the subtitles are not English but Dutch. So, I’m not sure why it uses the English term ‘pictured’
