Running a distro in a disk image has always been my favourite install method since wubi came out because a backup was only a question of copying a disk image and a couple of grub config files....
There's two models - the Duet 3 which comes with a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 @ 2.55 GHz CPU, and the 3i which comes with a Intel Celeron N4020. I would rather use the Duet 3, due to the cover, and since I am already familiar with the feel of the device due to having owned a Surface Pro 4, but I'd like to choose whichever works best...
I have a Surface Pro 4 that is riddled with software issues that Microsoft didn't patch and hardware issues that left the device with under three hours of battery after just a few years, so I'm not very trusting of them, as well as the larger hardware incompatibilities, but it looks like it may come to one of those or an ipad :/
I really want to use AI like llama, ChatGTP, midjourney etc. for something productive. But over the last year the only thing I found use for it was to propose places to go as a family on our Hokaido Japan journey. There were great proposals for places to go....
I use it to see the answers to problems on my physics homework when I can't figure it or myself. It works far better than forums, which are mostly all paywalled these days.
Most of my widgets and latte dock don't work on latte dock don't work on plasma 6, so just know that you won't have that if you're planning to upgrade.
I've got some DOOM WADs I have been meaning to play so I would probably grab Trench Foot, Total Chaos, and the sequel to Ashes 2063, Ashes: Afterglow with a portable install of GZDoom to play them....
As a Line Rider Creator, I'd get Line Rider Overhaul, Ungoogled Chromium with the linerider web app, get a bunch of mods and download a bunch of cool .ogg's.
You can join our community in Discord (unfortunately Discord is where the community is), there's also a couple good guides, Arglin's Line Rider for Dummies and Malizma's .com guide, and you could also just watch videos and make tracks, which is imo the best way to learn.
Sorry, I think I forgot to update my original post to mention this, but I think I somehow overwrote this file with the contents of grub.cfg so that file is no help to me.
I am sorry, I have been very busy and was planning on getting back to this when I have the time. I have done a lot of searching over the past months, and the comments on this post have mostly been very helpful and seem like they will work, so that's great actually. I am sorry if my post comes off as lazy or something, because that is not my intent.
I'm trying to update my grub boot order back to booting the first option instead of the second, so I run sudo nano /etc/default/grub, but it brings up this, which is not the file I want to edit....

I make use of flowtime, which is an timer app similar to pomodoro but with a smarter system for scheduling breaks. Instead of having a set time to go on break you can go on break anytime, and the app calculates a good break time. It also shows your working statistics, which is quite cool to see.
I'm personally using NewsFlash at the moment, and it's perfectly fine, but its borders are completely incongruous with my theme, I assume they're based around Gnome and I'm on Plasma, so I'm looking for a new one and was wondering what people here use?...
