So I just bought a OnePlus 12 recently, I was used to controlling volume using the onehand operations goodlock module in my Samsung galaxy S23. I basically never had to press the volume buttons to control the volume unless absolutely necessary....
Your submission, "Is there any solution available for controlling the volume without pressing the physical volume buttons ?" was removed for Rule 2: post these in !askandroid.
I use Komoot for wild walking and biking, and it’s incredible. Hugely more accurate and reliable. Just wondering if there’s something like that for city and intercity travel. Thanks for suggestions!
A friend is helping to develop a learning platform for incarcerated people, which will run on android tablets. I have a work profile setup on Shelter on GrapheneOS. When I am screen recording, it never records the audio from the work profile (I have my music player in a work profile). Is there any way to work around this or is it just a limitation of work profiles?

No worries! I’m sorry you were downvotes for your question. There has been some drama in response to the Sync release so don’t take it personally. Feel free to join us at !askandroid for random Android-related questions and answers, by the way!
Leaving this one up since there are already responses below, but just a friendly reminder about rule 2 in the sidebar. We ask that posts like these be made on !askandroid instead. Thanks!
Using Google Maps on Android Auto. When I have a destination, it shows the speed limit of the current road. But if I don’t have a destination it won’t show the speed limit. It still knows what the speed limit is, but it won’t show it. Is there any way to have it show the speed limit all the time?
Keeping this one up given there are answers below, but just a heads up on rule 2 in the sidebar. We ask that questions like these be posted to !askandroid. Thanks!
The only app I can’t live without. Except for gboard, all of my applications are Foss. Leaving this up because there are some good discussions here already and it’s a great question. I’d just flag rule 2 in the sidebar and that we ask questions and recommendation requests to be posted in !askandroid instead. Thanks!
Lemmy unfortunately doesn’t currently have functionality that could help people curate the type of content they want to see from within a single community (e.g., hiding posts, filtering by tags). Maintaining separate communities is more work for the moderators but gives people the choice to decide what kind of content to subscribe to when populating their “Subscribed” view.
Our hope is to foster a space that’s scratches the r/android itch with !android, while also having a space set aside for questions, support, and seeking recommendations with !askandroid. There’s also a tendency toward better quality responses for the latter when it’s in a community of people who have deliberately subscribed because they like to help folks out. That’s the thinking at least.

Hello, everybody, I’ve been thinking to move on from my Spotify subscription to move to Tidal or Deezer. I want to try out HIFI audio, but still get a good and stable experience.
