@gbhnews I follow more Mastodon accounts from Pixelfed than I follow Pixelfed accounts from Mastodon. (In part because not a lot of people use Pixelfed.)

Traditionally, media organizations would cross-post their Instagram content to Twitter or vice-versa. But federation makes cross-posting unnecessary.

You could really just have a Mastodon account and encourage people on Pixelfed to follow your Mastodon. They’ll see any of your Mastodon posts that contain image attachments.
