Super exciting to have the bandwidth to start putting my plans into motion. I decided that I want to do a daily status update in engine-dev, and let folks track my current areas of focus using a GitHub project board.
Browsing #hashtags is quickly becoming useless. Even important ones for #MastoAdmin like #Fediverse and #Mastodon are filled with toots of random #photos and #art. Some even promoting their #porn or #gamedev#gaming project. Even random #journal or #blog posts FILLED with random irrelevant hashtags. It's quite infuriating...if you know what I mean.🤦♂️😬
We're trying to capture a certain feel in every level, from #liminalspace, to late night games, to teeth to the drudgery of the mundane office... our #pixelart has a lot of heavy lifting to do!
I was just doing my daily scroll through my collection of #gamedev tags and I saw a post from @queenofsquiggles and thought
> huh how did I miss that in my home feed?
only to realise that it was actually made by her #peertube account @queen_of_squiggles... which I can follow. No way in hell you could follow a #youtube channel from #twitter but you can here. I always knew it was possible but this is the first time I've encountered it naturally.
Hey #Fediverse I was thinking about having some kind of blog to document my #GameDev projects I'm working on and give myself some kind of motivation to finish them. What sites do you recommend to do this?
Also, I don't know if there's a #Federated blog site or some tool like that that can help me with this journey. Any #Feditips would be appreciated 😁
Are you a game developer who isn't a professional, and/or do you develop games mainly for fun?
Or are you a player who enjoys to see games that done as their creator think they should be, rather than what sells best?
