I made a post a few days ago asking your opinion on Manjaro and it was very mixed, with a slightly negative overall opinion. I heard some recommend EndeavourOS instead and did some online research and it seems to be pretty solid and not have the repository problem that Manjaro has....

The page says it gets updated every 1-5 months and F-Droid says the last update was over a year ago. Is it still being developed?

Tldr: Are there fan drivers I should look into for my Gigabyte Aorus XC laptop (Intel i7; RTX 3070; 32GB RAM), so my fans do not get stuck at 100% when running Linux? Does anyone use cloud pcs with enough capacity to run sd? In particular, with a video card with enough vram. This would be as an alternative to buying a pc.

My mom likes to play No Man’s Sky and Valheim, but her Asus TUF started freezing on games. RMA found no problems and sent it back to her but it still happens. I ordered a Legion for her but now I see these posts about all Nvidia 40-series laptops freezing up. What’s a gaming mom supposed to do?
