boredsquirrel , 11 days ago Distrobox is not a good solution. But when there is an APT package, packagers can easily use their binary and create RPMs etc.

swooosh , 11 days ago Ok. So far I only use it for cli tools like pdlaftex, typst, R, and others. So far it works great. I assume the same for gui apps. Theming will be off but that's not a real issue as long as the app works.
