Meta acquired Onavo from an Israeli firm over 10 years ago, promising users private networking, as most VPNs do.

There is no doubt that it is meant to spy. I wonder if zuk bought WhatsApp with the intention to add Pegasus backdoor in it.

As said use docker but if you directly want to run a DNS and VPN servers then my recommadtion is Adguard Home instead of PiHole since it is rootless and doesn't modify system
And for VPN go with PiVPN script and setup wireguard.
Once installed both handle automatic updates without running a single command.

Telegram got its popularity because of piracy and having your chats on cloud. It was never intended to give privacy to user but due to WhatsApp breaches they started promoting telegram as a secured chat app which is a toatal joke till this day.

I really don't understand where they are going with Mozilla's new leadership.

Don't they already show ads in pinned sites area. Since I am not a regular donor I click on the affiliate amazon link if I am purchasing something to support them. Now I feel like they are taking wrong signal due to this. More advertising enabled by default will make even harder to recommend firefox to new users.

I do cap speeds in my transmission server since I mostly use it for large size torrents and forget to pause until I open the web interface again. Once I ended up seeding 30x.

Hello all, recently wanted to signup for temporary permanent legit emailmid in gmail. It was asking me Phone number in process, i tried to use multiple numbers from regular online resources ( more than 30) but nothing worked. I don't want to give my personal phone number in real life to someone's unless Its I want to....

It needs to be a real android not a VM or emulator. Google will detect the device through play services. you can easily create 4-5 accounts without the numbers.

How do I patch an android game I paid for, but now doesn't work because the devs shut a server off?

I paid for Puzzle Quest 2 on android like a decade+ ago. It is a local single-player game. It has a validation check when you open the app. That check fails because this game is ancient and the servers are offline....

Never saw any ads with Subscene files. But I don't think Subscene provide api for apps.

Just put the srt in same folder and rename it exactly to the media file. Almost all media player support this.
